Terms of Service
Effective April 30, 2026
These terms (“Terms”) cover your use of FamilyDash (“FamilyDash,” “we,” “us”), available at familydash.app and through our mobile and tablet apps. By creating an account or using FamilyDash, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use FamilyDash
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create a FamilyDash account. Parents and guardians may add household members of any age, including children, but the parent remains responsible for the household account.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials private. You’re responsible for activity in your account, including activity by household members you invite. Tell us right away at familydashapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Subscriptions and billing
FamilyDash offers a free tier and a paid tier (“FamilyDash Pro”). Pro is billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can start a free trial without entering a card. After the trial, if you choose to subscribe, your card is charged on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from Settings; you’ll keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period.
- We don’t offer refunds for partial billing periods, but if something goes wrong, email us — we’ll make it right.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply to the next billing period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use FamilyDash for anything illegal or that violates someone else’s rights.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or non-public data.
- Disrupt or overload the service.
- Resell access to FamilyDash without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the data you put into FamilyDash (your household members, chores, calendar feeds, photos, recipes, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely so we can provide FamilyDash to you.
6. Third-party services
FamilyDash integrates with third-party services like Google, Apple Calendar, Kroger, OpenWeatherMap, and Stripe. Your use of those services is also governed by the third party’s own terms. We’re not responsible for their availability or behavior.
7. Service changes
FamilyDash is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We’ll try to give you reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid features.
8. Disclaimers
FamilyDash is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted service or that the service will be free of bugs. Calendar sync, weather, and integrations depend on third parties we don’t control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, FamilyDash is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to FamilyDash is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. After termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end immediately.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.
12. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date above and notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of FamilyDash after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
